It is a waiting for an uncertain future, for what is to come, while knowing that the worst continues to unfold. This waiting transforms and sublimates itself, until it reveals violence in its most stripped form, without masking it. To show what the country is going through, in its history and its flesh, becomes essential—not to conceal pain, but to give it a place, without banalising it or falling into collective amnesia.
